CWA
The Communications Workers of America is a Union for the information age. The CWA represents 700,000 workers in private and public sector employment in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
We have 1,200 chartered CWA local union in 10,000 communities. Our members work in: telecommunications and information technology, the airline industry, news media, broadcast and cable television, education, health care and public service, law enforcement, manufacturing and other fields.

Retiree Association of Flight Attendants (RAFA)
The International Retiree Association of Flight Attendants – CWA unites retired members in a cohesive organization. RAFA advocates for retiree and pre-retiree needs by organizing and participating in legislative, educational, civic, social, economic and community activities to advance and enhance the interests of the membership. There are RAFA councils in Washington, California, Illinois, Washington D.C. and Hawaii!

National Mediation Board (NMB)
“The National Mediation Board (NMB), established by the 1934 amendments to the Railway Labor Act of 1926, is an independent U.S. Federal-government agency that facilitates labor-management relations within the nation’s railroad and airline industries.
Pursuant to the Railway Labor Act, NMB programs provide dispute-resolution processes to effectively meet its statutory objectives: avoiding interruption to commerce or to the operation of any carrier; forbidding any limitation upon freedom of association among employees; providing for the prompt and orderly settlement of all disputes concerning rates of pay, rules, or working conditions; and providing for the prompt and orderly settlement of all disputes growing out of grievances related to the implementation and management of collective bargaining agreements.

National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)
“The National Transportation Safety Board is an independent Federal agency charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident the United States and significant accidents in other modes of transportation – railroad, highway, marine and pipeline.
The NTSB determines the probable cause of the accidents and issues safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents. In addition, the NTSB carries out special studies concerning transportation safety and coordinates the resources of the Federal Government and other organizations to provide assistance to victims and their family members impacted by major transportation disasters.
